French actor Pierre Boulanger is making his English-speaking feature debut in Fox 2000 and New Regency’s young femme comedy “Monte Carlo.”

Boulanger will play the love interest to Selena Gomez’s character.

Directed by Tom Bezucha, “Monte Carlo” toplines Gomez, Katie Cassidy and Leighton Meester as three American girls who take a trip to Paris, only to head for Monaco when one of them is mistaken for a spoiled princess.

Bezucha is set to start lensing this week. He’ll shoot in Paris, Budapest and Monaco.

Brett Cullen and Australian thesp Luke Bracey play the other love interests. Andie McDowell also stars.

Producers are Nicole Kidman, Denise Di Novi and Alison Greenspan.

Boulanger played the teenage lead in 2003’s “Monsieur Ibrahim.”

Selena made sure to emphasize her single status at the 20th annual A Time for Heroes Celebrity Carnival to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

She told Extra, “I’m single. Definitely single.”

So why all the paparazzi shots of Selena and Taylor running errands together and hanging out all the time. Selena said, “He’s one of my good friends.”

And to prove her point even more, when asked who her favorite Twilight star was, she replied, “I’d say Robert.”

Touche! Well, maybe these two are just taking things slow, which can’t fault them for! More young Hollywood couples should do what Selena and Taylor are doing. But how cute would these two be?!

“The Shakira episode was so much fun. I’m not sure I can reveal too much. I just know that she had a very big part in it and I was just starstruck the entire time. I also felt like I needed to work out after I was next to her because she’s gorgeous. She was really nice and she was really funny. So the role was her playing herself, obviously, and I got to sing a song with her as well.”

So Selena sang with Shakira, but did she dance? “No! I wasn’t even about to attempt her dance moves. There’s no way I would be that skilled.”

The Jonas Brothers are three guys who shouldn't have any trouble finding themselves a Valentine. While, Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas still appear to be going strong with their respective ladies, it appears that young Nick is once again single.

Kevin is currently linked to hometown girl Danielle Deleasa (they both grew up in Wyckoff, New Jersey), and Joe is dating "Push" star Camilla Belle. Both had "no comment" about their dating lives when asked by a fan on "The Insider" on Thursday night if they were dating anyone. Meanwhile, 16-year-old Nick, who had been most recently rumored to be dating "Wizards of Waverly Place" star Selena Gomez, replied that these days he's single. (It's a good thing his mom is his Valentine this year.)

When the guys made their first appearance on "The Late Show with David Letterman," also on Thursday night, Letterman got the boys to open up about their former flames.

"We went on tour with Miley [Cyrus]," Nick said about his relationship with the Disney star. He jokingly added, "Again, going back to the ups and downs, I think that I was 14, so it's, you know, I was pretty young, so I think you can just consider it a young little relationship."

Though Kevin stayed mum during the interrogation, Joe goofed around about his much-discussed relationship with Taylor Swift. When Letterman mentioned her name, Joe looked around the room, before teasingly saying, "No, um, yeah, you know, we didn't work out."

Letterman, on a roll after his rather interesting Wednesday-night exchange with Joaquin Phoenix, quickly quipped that Joe's youth makes it easy for him to be so nonchalant about the breakup. "Yeah, it's funny now, but try saying that when you're 62."
